The Empire is back: Star Wars brings Leicester Square to standstill as stellar cast arrives for European premiere of The Force Awakens

Leading lady Daisy, 23, blew the red carpet competition out of the water with her on-point outfit choice, which was both Dark Side black and glittering with a galactic print. Just 1,000 wrist bands were given out for fans queuing (centre) to see their favourite stars including Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford arrive at the event. The trio who are returning to the saga after starring in the original trilogy will join British newcomers Daisy Ridley and John Boyega in London's Leicester Square tonight. Benedict Cumberbatch, Stephen Fry and Simon Pegg are also expected to make appearances for the European premiere of Str Wars Episode VII. Merich Zekai (left) watched all six films ahead of the premiere and is attending dressed as Obi-Wan Kenobi, while another fan took a selfie with an attendee in an Ewok outfit (right).
