'The Americans think every Muslim is a threat': British father's fury after his family of 11's £11,000 Disneyland trip was blocked by US officials who stopped them at Gatwick departure lounge

Mohammad Tariq Mahmood was attempting to travel from Gatwick Airport to Los Angeles with his brother and nine of their children when Homeland Security officials approached on December 15. Mahmood, his brother and the kids - who were between the ages of eight and 19 - were informed they were not permitted to board despite being granted authorization online only weeks before. Mahmood, who said it was 'obvious' why their tickets were revoked, and his family wasn't refunded the $13,340 cost of their flights and they had to return items they purchased at Duty Free store. They were also upset they did not get to see Disneyland (top right). Walthamstow Labour MP Stella Creasy called on Prime Minister David Cameron (seen main) to get involved because the US Embassy didn't respond. A spokesperson for Cameron said he would consider Creasy's letter and 'respond in due course'.
