EXCLUSIVE 'I was raped ten times a day': Harrowing story of girl who was sold to a brothel at 10, gave birth at 13, then tortured when she tried to kill herself

EXCLUSIVE: In a shocking betrayal, Alicia was eight when she was forced to have sex with men at her aunt's bar in Juchitán, Mexico. Aged ten her parents sold her to a brothel owner for £600 and she told MailOnline of her brutal ordeal of being raped ten times a day. When she became pregnant before she even had her first period at 13 Alicia (pictured and with her baby inset) said she had no idea who the father was because it could have been one of at least 80 men. After she had the baby Alicia was deemed 'spoiled goods' by the brothel owner and was sold to a senior adviser to Mexico's leading PRI political party to become a house slave. Shamed Margarita Jimenez Lopez, once a respected member of the community, and her two children have been convicted of human trafficking and now face at least 20 years in jail.
