Burmese migrants are sentenced to death after being found GUILTY of murdering two young British backpackers on Thai island


Burmese migrants Zaw Lin and Wai Phyo, also known as Win Zaw Htun have been found guilty of the murders of two British backpackers in Thailand. The battered bodies of Hannah Witheridge, 23, and David Miller, 24, were discovered on a beach on the idyllic holiday island of Koh Tao on September 15 last year. Today the long awaited verdicts from the protracted and drawn out murder trial were delivered. The men had been warned prior to the verdicts being read out that they could face the death sentence if found guilty.
