Terrifying moment an Airbus A320 aborted its landing when it was buffeted by strong gales as Storm Clodagh battered Britain

UK weather to see Storm Clodagh bring 79mph winds and snow
The terrifying moment a passenger plane was forced to abort its landing at Manchester Airport due to high winds has been caught on camera as Storm Clodagh continues to batter Britain with gusts of 60mph. The Met Office has issued official warnings for high winds across nearly the whole country, and sustained rainfall has caused massive flooding in some areas such as York - just a day after huge storms left trees uprooted and caused damage to houses and cars across the country, leading to cancelled flights and trains. The storm has already claimed one life, after a man ran into the sea in Kent to try and rescue his dog only to get in trouble himself and drown in the high waves.
