Adele, (bottom centre), insists she hasn't changed a bit - aside from swapping grocery shopping in Tesco for the pricier Waitrose. But in fact the star does seem to have shed some of her humble North London roots. She used to live above a discount shop with her

mother, but has been connected to luxurious properties in Sussex (left) and Malibu, California. She is thought to have been renting the £6million Sussex home for an eye-watering £15,000 a month. Earlier this year she was also reported to have put in an offer on a luxuriant oceanside home in Malibu (top right) with an infinity pool, Jacuzzi and views over the Pacific. Even aside from her property empire, thought to have cost her a total over £16million, Adele also luxuriates in other trappings of wealth, including sessions with the Prime Minister's hairdresser, lavish gifts for her three-year-old son, Angelo, and a bespoke diet. She has also been seen driving round London in an £80,000 Ranger Rover (bottom right).
