13 Killed as Boko Haram Attacks Village in Niger Republic

At least 13 people are dead, and 3 injured, as a result of a Boko Haram attack on village in south-east Niger Republic, Vanguard reports.

Malam Ligari, a local official in the Diffa region confirmed the incident to newsmen, stated that it occurred on Tuesday evening in Ala Village.

“Boko Haram militants came in huge numbers. They burned cars, houses, stores,” an eyetwitness said.
