Spared jail: William Nelson - who posted 30 photos of himself having sex with his ex-girlfriend on Facebook - today sobbed in court as he was spared jail for his 'revenge porn' act. Above, Nelson leaves court today
A jilted boyfriend who posted 30 photos of himself having sex with his ex-girlfriend on Facebook when she split up with him today sobbed in court as he was spared jail for his 'revenge porn' act.
William Nelson, 52, who lives in Lewisham, south-east London, set up a fake profile on the social-networking site, using the name Janus Stillman, after his then-partner ended their relationship.
He subsequently uploaded dozens of naked images of the woman to the profile. These images included photos of Nelson and his ex-girlfriend having sex, and other 'intimate' snaps of the victim.

After posting the pictures, Nelson sent out 'friend' requests to his former partner's loved ones through the bogus profile, before messaging 60 of them to invite them to view the images.
He told them his ex-girlfriend - whom MailOnline is not naming - was 'f***ing black and Arab men'.
The victim messaged Nelson after she was alerted to the sexually-explicit photos of her, and demanded that he remove them from Facebook. When he refused to do so, she contacted police.

Nelson, from Montacute Road, who is on benefits, was subsequently arrested and charged with disclosing private sexual photographs with intent to cause distress and without consent.
Today, he wept at Croydon Magistrates Court as he was handed a two-month prison sentence, suspected for 18 months, by the judge. He had pleaded guilty to the charge in July.
He was also ordered to complete 100 days' unpaid work, issued a 40-day rehabilitation requirement and given a restraining order preventing him from contacting his former partner by any means.
