Angelina Jolie towers over Cambodian PM as she begins shooting Netflix Khmer Rouge movie with son Maddox who she adopted from country 13 years ago

Angelina Jolie met Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Thursday morning to discuss her upcoming project about the country's brutal Khmer Rouge regime. The 40-year-old A-list star beamed as she looked down on the political leader from her high heels at the Peace Palace in the capital Phnom Penh. The mother-of-six is adapting First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers, a harrowing memoir by Cambodian human rights activist Loung Ung, for Netflix. It will feature her son Maddox who she adopted from the war-torn country in 2002.
