Roman Abramovich ready to break Chelsea record to land £73m Juventus star Paul Pogba

Chelsea are trying desperately to land the French midfield ace - as exclusively revealed in theDaily Star - because they fear that if they don't Barcelona will snap him up next summer.
The Blues' billionaire owner initially insisted he was only willing to go to £60m for the 22-year-old.
But the Russian often changes his mind and Jose Mourinho's champions are refusing to give up on Pogba, despite Juve insisting he is not for sale, having handed him their iconic No.10 shirt this season.
It is understood discussions about a possible Pogba sale came up while Chelsea wer
e discussing loaning Colombian misfit Juan Cuadrado to the Serie A giants.
A Cuadrado loan deal still looks likely to happen following the arrival of £21m winger Pedro from Barca.
But Juve are determined to keep Pogba for one more season, with Barcelona believed to be waiting in the wings to snap him up.
The Spanish aces were banned from doing business for the two transfer windows in 2015 but plan to spend big once the ban is lifted next year.
It seems Pogba has his heart set on a move to La Liga and it is thought unlikely Chelsea will succeed, but they want to test the Serie A side's determination to keep him.
"There's no money able to get Pogba this year," said an Italian source.
"But he will be sold next year 100 per cent, with Barcelona his likely destination."
Meanwhile Chelsea are still pressing ahead with their attempts to sign Everton defender John Stones, who could cost them up to £40m.
