Now prison insiders have claimed he is so paranoi
d about being poisoned he refuses to eat cooked food. Instead he will only eat processed food bought from the prison shop.

Pistorius had sent in a number of other complaints, according to Mentoor, which were quickly sorted out for him.
"He complained that he wanted a bath. They built a bath in his cell," he said. "He also had a complaint about his bed. And they replaced his bed for him."
Pistorius complained about his gym equipment, so they changed that as well.
The athlete, who is a double amputee who lost both legs below the knee at 11 months old, is housed in the hospital wing of the prison.
Because of this he has his own cell and a separate toilet away from the general prison population.

Prison inspection officer Boitumelo Morake said: "When you go there, to the hospital section, it is very secure and where he is, it is very clean. It's nice and neat."
Mentoor added that the hospital wing was the only option for housing Pistorius, because of his high profile.
"If you are a high-profile inmate," he said, "you are at risk because the other inmates and the gangsters within the correctional services will target you."
