Farah wins World Championship 5,000m gold - despite running further than all of his opponents so he could grab a quick drink

Mo Farah wins World Championship gold in 5,000m despite stopping for water
Even making a pit stop for a cup of water (ringed above) was not enough to stop 32-year-old Briton Mo Farah from sprinting away with victory in the 5,000m final at the World Championships in Beijing. Just over three minutes into the race the distance runner crossed eight lanes of the track (top left) to get his hands on some refreshment. Farah, who secured his seventh successive international title, poured the liquid over his head (bottom left), as he battled the searing heat in the Birds Nest Stadium.
