Break for the border: Thousands of migrants, many carrying their children, break through police lines after leaping over razor wire to reach Macedonia from Greece

Migrants storm Macedonia police lines and leap over razor wire from Greece
Thousands of migrants have succeeded in storming across the closed border between Greece and Macedonia, storming through police forces. Macedonia declared a state of emergency on Thursday. Families have been forced to wait for days in the open, with no food and no access to shelter from the pouring rain. The 3,000-strong crowd waiting at the border has made several attempts to cross into Macedonia from Greece in the past days, but has finally succeeded in forcing its way through security forces today.
