For the past year, American Ben Schlappig has been travelling the world full time, spending what little time he isn't in the air living out of five-star hotels in cities like Hong Kong, Dubai and London. The 25-year-old has been a frequent flyer for a decade, when he learned about a group of people outsmarting the airlines called Hobbyists. When Schlappig broke up with his boyfriend last year, he decided to make flying his full time job and decided not to renew his lease, instead travelling constantly to rack up a massive amount of frequent flyer miles.
