Three-week-old baby Reggie Young (right) died after being bitten by his father's pet terrier at their home in Sunderland. He was rushed to hospital after the attack by a Patterdale terrier similar to the one pictured (inset), but doctors were unable to save him. Police have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the incident over 'concerns for the care of the baby at the time of the incident' and he remained in custody yesterday evening. The baby's parents Maria Blacklin and Ryan Young (left), who have four other young children, are said to be 'distraught'
