World number female tennis player, Serena Williams is the new Chief Sporting officer for Aston Martin.
Serena took to her Twitter account to share the news, writing: “I am loving My first day on the job @astonmartin as Chief Sporting Officer…and director of fun!”
The British luxury sports cars makers later confirmed the news by welcoming the multiple grand slam winner to her new role.
“Welcome @serenawilliams – our new Chief Sporting Officer!” the Aston Martin twitter account wrote alongside a photo of Serene posing with one of their cars.
Aston Martin Lagonda Limited was founded by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford in 1913 and they are a British Manufacturer of Luxury Sport cars and Grand Tourers.
