Keep the deuces flowing! Wimbledon organisers warn fans to top up on water and sunscreen as temperatures are set to soar to 36C this week - the hottest tournament day EVER

Wimbledon organisers warn fans to top up on water as temperatures are set to soar to 36C
Tennis fans are expected to bask in sweltering conditions as they arrive for the start of the tournament today - but the prospect of a heatwave could play havoc for British hopeful Andy Murray. The in-form Scotsman will have to wait a little longer to take to the court, beginning with a match against world number 58 Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan on Tuesday, but he seems well-set for another championship run as he looks to regain the crown he won in 2013. Many people camped out over the weekend (pictured left) so that they could be first in line for tickets for today's play, with organisers revealing that they are getting ready to serve 28,000kg of strawberries and 230,000 glasses of Pimm's throughout the two-week tournament. And with temperatures forecast to soar beyond 36C as the week goes on, the All England Club is hurriedly preparing emergency plans to treat fans and players on what could end up being the hottest day ever recorded in the tournament's history.
