The 31-year-old was seen listening intently to the prospective Labour leaders as they clashed over the party's record in government, reigniting speculation that he might be looking towards a career in politics. Mr Blair has previously been tipped for a future in government and last year there were rumours that he would be parachuted in to one of the party's safest seats ahead of the general election. Mr Blair, the eldest son of the former Prime Minister, rested his head on his chin as declared candidates Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper, Mary Creagh and Liz Kendall set out their stalls alongside Tristram Hunt, who is expected to put his name forward next week.
