Kia Ora, Harry! The people's prince gets up close and personal for a traditional Maori welcome as he arrives in New Zealand

A 21-gun salute echoed throughout the grounds of Government house to welcome Prince Harry on his first visit to New Zealand. The 30-year-old prince graciously placed his head against that of a Maori cultural party member, performing a greeting that is traditional to the island nation. His arrival in Wellington marks the start of a week-long visit that will take him as far south as Stewart Island and as far north as Auckland.
