One-in-a-million baby girl twins defy the odds when one is born black and the other white

Mother Rebecca Horton, 28, who is white, and father Curtis Martin, 24, who half Jamaican, said even they struggle to believe Kendall (centre left) and Baylee (centre right) are related. The girls are dizygotic twins, meaning they come from two separate eggs fertilized by two different sperm, meaning they do not share the same genetics, and can therefore appear different. However, the chances of them having such a contrasting skin tone is still extremely rare.
