Britain's biggest ever drugs bust: Royal Navy seize more than £500MILLION worth of cocaine on boat manned by Turkish gang off the coast of Aberdeen
Three tonnes of cocaine worth more than £500million was seized after a raid on the tug boat MV Hamal in the North Sea, off the Aberdeenshire coast in Scotland. The discovery is Britain's biggest ever drugs bust - more than three times the value of the previous record find. Nine Turkish nationals have since been remanded in custody in connection with alleged drug trafficking offences.
