The night Cowell's exes stripped and tried to seduce me by X Factor flop: Steve Brookstein claims pair cornered him in mogul's dressing room

Brookstein (right), now 46, claims he was cornered in Cowell's dressing room by Sinitta and former glamour model Jackie St Clair (pictured left with Cowell) just before the 2004 final...and Cowell was there to watch the whole thing. He said he was left shaken by the episode and feels it may have been set up by the X Factor boss as part of an attempt to control him. Making the claims in his new autobiography Getting Over The X, Brookstein said he was trying to calm himself before the final when he was summoned to Cowell's room. Brookstein said the women finally backed off after he told them to stop, and he then 'tore into' Cowell, who told him he was trying to 'relax' him. Brookstein said the incident had brought back memories of being abused as a teenager.
