Hackers release passwords and credit card info belonging to Amazon and Playstation users

CYBER WAR: Hackers are believed to have stolen and leaked the private details of thousands of Amazon, Xbox and Playstation users [GETTY]
The cyber-thieves, who are reported to be linked to Anonymous, posted a document online with username and password combinations.
The group also stole a copy of and uploaded it to a website where it could be illegally downloaded.
Dailydot.com reported the group stole the information "for the lulz".
Details from pornographic websites were also released.
News of the leak comes as Sony said they were gradually resuming normal service after the company's online services went down on Christmas Day.
Children around the world said their holidays had been "ruined" after they were unable to download games or compete online against other gamers on their new PS4s and Xboxes.
Lizard Squad, another hacking group, claimed responsibility for the crippling cyber-attack.
Writing on Twitter the group said: "I have the nation on strings."
At the start of December the account threatened to ruin the holiday season, describing itself as the "Grinch".
Thousands of devastated gamers used the hashtag #christmasruined to express their outrage.
Ros Bruce from Essex said her son, 10, spent most of December 25 in tears.
She said: "He says it's been his worst Christmas ever. I think Xbox should compensate us all."
Little is known of Lizard Squad or what their motivation was for the hack but there are suggestions they could be based in Russia.
