The driver was captured on video speeding toward a group of protesters in a dark-colored Subaru Outback during a rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Tuesday afternoon. He plowed through demonstrators, before smashing into a woman (center) and carrying her 20 feet under his left-front wheel. The victim (pictured, inset, being treated by paramedics) was later taken to hospital with 'very minor injuries'. It comes as cities across America are demonstrating against the Ferguson grand jury's decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the Michael Brown shooting case for a second night. In New York (top right), thousands of people brought traffic to a standstill by blocking bridges, tunnels and highways; in Washington DC (top left), around 200 protestors crowded around the White House; in Philadelphia (bottom right), dozens of protesters shouted insults and waved signs outside a police station, and in Atlanta, riot police (bottom left) arrested 21 protesters in violent clashes
