Passenger 'almost faints' after being handed £1,000 bill for boarding wrong train for journey from Birmingham to London

The group of 38 friends had bought tickets permitting them to travel on London Midland services, but unwittingly boarded a faster Virgin Trains service when they arrived on the platform.
