Word quickly spread among locals, who say the moviestar was spotted having a drink at the local public house, after marrying the London-based lawyer Amal Alamuddin (pictured inset with Clooney) last month. Following the wedding in Venice, the couple are said to have snapped up a £10million manor house on the Thames. The previous owner confirmed he had sold the property but refused to comment on the buyer. While locals took to Twitter on Saturday night to report the couple had been spotted in the local village pub.
