Australian Hostage Negotiator Accuses Former Borno Governor & Other Politicians of Funding Boko Haram
In an interview with Arise TV Davis says some of the most prominent Nigerian politicians are “primary sponsors” of Boko Haram.
He mentions Borno State governor, Ali Modu Sheriff and a former Chief of Staff, as some of the primary sponsors.
According to him, the main rationale behind the politicians’ funding of Boko Haram is because they want to take power in next year’s elections.
The report also reveals that Davis was almost successful in rescuing some of the girls, but a few minutes before he arrived at the location, the girls were re-kidnapped.
