A Brooklyn woman has beheaded and dismembered a mother of four and scattered her remains in pieces across Long Island over a $200 electricity dispute she refused to pay her because she wasn’t getting it.
Chinelle Latoya Thompson Browne rented a room apartment at Leah Cueva’s late uncle’s flat where Cueva also stays but she wouldn’t provide hot water or reliable electricity and wanted continuous payment.
Cuevas angrily confronted Browne on July 4 over non-payment of rent and utilities. On July 5, witnesses saw Browne entering the apartment and then heard a confrontation.
“No, Leah! What you doing?” a neighbor heard Browne’s gut-wrenching scream during the fatal attack. “Oh, no! Oh, no! I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”

Cuevas cursed back at Browne, telling her to “Shut the f--- up,”.
“The scare in (Browne’s) voice was like nothing I ever heard before,” a witness told detectives.
Leah Cuevas viciously hacked her victim, Browne, 27, in the neck and chest, cutting off her head.
Detectives are not yet sure if Cuevas had any help or if she was the only one who dismembered Browne's body and scattered her head and arms across Long Island. Cuevas faces a maximum of 25 years to life if convicted.
