UPSET Yaya Toure is reportedly ready to take a pay-cut to quit Manchester City
The midfield man mountain feels unwanted at City and is open to joining another Premier League club for less than the £11m-a-year he's currently on, according to reports in The Sun.
Chelsea have the financial clout to pull off a deal while he could fancy linking up with brother Kolo at Liverpool.
However, finances are likely to prevent any chance of the Kop pulling off an incredible coup.
Arsene Wenger is a big fan of Toure and the Frenchman has a £100m transfer kitty to spend. City selling to fierce rivals Manchester United is all but out of the question, while the Ivory Coast star could fancy a move back to Barcelona.
Toure's agent Dimitry Seluk told The Sun: "There's a big possibility Yaya will leave this summer. Yaya is very upset.
"It's not possible to buy relationships with money. And if they cannot shake the hand of Yaya, bye bye, no problem."
The Sun claim Toure's discontent stems from the club stalliing for seven months over a new four-year deal.
They only then rushed it through when Toure threatened to quit.
But Toure was left downbeat after no-one from the club wished him a happy birthday.
Seluk added: "What happened at his birthday meant the club don't care about him. It was proof.
"If a player like Yaya went to Liverpool and they won the league after 24 years, I think Yaya can be a god in Liverpool.
"But at City, Yaya is no hero."
Toure may not have been wished a happy birthday in person - but he was on Twitter!
