A SCHOOLTEACHER who gave a 15-year-old student a lap dance for his birthday claims she did so because her class "convinced her to".

Felicia Smith, who works at Stovall Middle School in Houston, Texas, was caught on camera putting her head between the pupil's legs while she was on her knees.
The 42-year-old is also believed to have grinded against the teen's body and "slapped" her rear end during the bizarre incident on February 26.
When the dance, which last around four minutes, had ended Smith hugged the boy before saying: "I love you baby, happy birthday."
In a statement they said: "The district takes this allegation seriously and is fully cooperating with prosecutors.
"The safety and security of our students will continue to be a top priority in Aldine ISD."
