'She was scared of me' Pistorius admits girlfriend Reeva feared the way he snapped at her

 
OSCAR Pistorius confessed that girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was afraid him and the way he used to snap at her, a court heard.

The two-time Paralympic gold medallist, who gunned down his lover at his apartment, was said to have bullied Reeva and picked on her in a relationship that was "all about him".
The 27-year-old admits to killing Reeva but denies murdering her, saying he shot her thinking she was an intruder.
Continuing his evidence in the dock today, the blade runner told the court in Pretoria, South Africa: "She was scared of me and how I react to things sometimes.
"She told me, I'm scared of you, and the way I snapped at her.
"I never shouted or screamed at her though."
Prosecutor Gerrie Nel, known as "the pitbull" because of his questioning tactics, said: “It’s all about I, it’s all about Mr. Pistorius.
“It’s all about you.
“It’s all about Mr. Pistorius. That is what your relationship was all about."

“She told me, I'm scared of you, and the way I snapped at her.”

Mr Nel told the court how Mr Pistorius picked on her "incessantly' and after searching through text messages on her phone, found the phrase “I love you” only twice, both times addressed to her mother.
He said: “Never to you and you never to her.
“Apart from ‘I miss you,’ boo hoo hoo, you never wrote a long message saying how you felt about her.
“Your messages were only about you.”
Double amputee Pistorius wept in court as he spoke of how he was sorry for killing the Reeva, telling her family members who were sat in the court.

He said: "I apologise for their sorrow, their emptiness, I apologise for taking their daughter's life.
"I would one day want to meet Reeva's parents. I didn't get to do that.
"I can imagine now they would not want to."
Mr Nel replied: "I would have thought I'd hear "I apologise for killing Reeva" I didn't hear that."
To which Pistorius repeated: “I’m terribly sorry that I took the life of their daughter."
If found guilty of murder, Pistorius could face life in prison.
The trial continues.
